Making memories for bereaved children

Helping professionals better support bereaved children through the provision of memory boxes and supporting materials
If a child loses a parent or sibling, we want to help professionals offer opportunities to capture precious memories and initial support.

Our Vision

After experiencing the challenges of navigating the stormy waters of grief, we want to help others who find themselves walking this path in our shoes.

Memory boxes

We provide memory boxes and resources to many settings including acute hospitals, hospices and schools to help them better support children following the death of a close loved one. This box contains books, a journal and a pair of soft toys, as well as a kit to take a handprint and a lock of hair. This can be used to capture precious memories in the moment and added to in the difficult times ahead.

Memory Boxes Supplied Since 2018

The charity was founded in 2018 in memory of Mark Knapp, a much-loved husband and father of 2 young children, who died very suddenly and unexpectedly.

Mark made such a positive impact on so many lives that we felt driven to start this charity in his memory, with the aim of improving support for those who would follow in our footsteps.

Help us raise money to help bereaved children

Our aim is to help families who are dealing with the grief of losing a parent or sibling. In addition to the provision of memory boxes we also want to raise the profile of child bereavement.
